Kristin Cartwright

Kristin Cartwright

Kristin received her B.S. in Exercise Science at Western Kentucky University, where she met and began working with Rachel Tinius on a pregnancy research project. After graduation, Kristin looked to Rachel as a mentor as she pursued an M.S. in Kinesiology. While in the program, she spearheaded a new postpartum addition to the pregnancy study, found her passion for research, published her master’s thesis, and graduated top of her class. Kristin attended PT school at WKU in 2021 and upon earning her clinical doctorate this spring, has decided to join our team and bring her love of research and her newfound clinical skills to benefit women on their pregnancy journey and into the postpartum period as well. Her sister and brother-in-law recently welcomed their first son and Kristin has seen firsthand just how little medical attention new mothers receive after undergoing such a major life event. She wants to help bridge that gap and help women to return to the quality of life and health that they deserve.
