Amanda Havard

Amanda Havard is a serial entrepreneur, ecosystem builder, and innovation strategist based in Bowling Green, Kentucky. A patent holder, author, and repeat founder, she co-founded Innovation Engine in 2024 and launched the What Could BG Be? initiative the following year. She serves as board chair of the Regional Tech Council and as Entrepreneur-in-Residence at WKU’s Innovation Campus, where she is committed to shaping the region’s innovation ecosystem. Havard’s career centers on applying human-centered design to “third wave” technology—modernizing legacy industries such as healthcare, education, government, and manufacturing by overcoming entrenched processes and cultural resistance to change.

Her ventures include Lunae Innovation Lab and Origin Story Health, along with advisory roles across multiple startups. She has developed products ranging from interactive reading platforms to enterprise SaaS tools for Medicaid, and continues to pioneer data-driven approaches to health and workplace innovation. Whether expanding access to healthcare in rural communities, designing algorithms to connect patients with digital programs, or fostering collaboration across multi-stakeholder ecosystems, Havard is known for taking fuzzy ideas and turning them into a tangible thing. Recognized as one of Bowling Green’s VIP Magazine “40 Under 40,” she is helping position the region as a hub for the next generation of innovation.
